I won't spoil the story too much, but it's a great character study of someone torn between two diametrically opposed worlds that remains tense and constantly in doubt. I haven't even tried the DLC content yet but even if it's just another set of interesting combat missions I'll be engaged for another 5 hours at least. I've beaten every mission, case, and sidequest in the game and I have nothing but praise to give this game. Hong Kong looks amazing, particularly the dingy neon alleyways, and the atmospheric use of colour and lighting makes every frame look cinematic (to use a saturated buzzword).

I've been playing the PS3 version, and despite the game being last-gen I'm still throughly impressed at how well the graphics age. The world design and graphics also deserve commendation. I found myself actually using the new moves I unlocked, mixing them up with my other moves, and I felt rewarded by looking and feeling like an absolute badass. The melee combat especially is a highlight, and it's the best execution of an Arkham-style combat system I've seen outside of Arkham Asylum itself. The only real nitpick I have is that the shooting mechanics are nothing more than bog-standard, and they don't flow very well into the rest of the gameplay. The writing, voice acting, world design, and progression are all amazing. It seriously outranks every GTA game I've played, and almost (but not quite) dethrones my two genre favourites (Morrowind and Breath Of The Wild). Holy crap, I can't believe this game doesn't have a bigger community.
